ASETSThe BC Native Women's Association (BCNWA) believes that education and training opportunities can help Aboriginal women achieve economic success.
The BCNWA's Aboriginal Skills Employment and Training Strategy (ASETS) Program is funded by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC); and coordinated by Crystle Phillips. The ASETS Program takes a labour market driven approach so that all training initiatives reflect labour market needs in your community. BCNWA will sponsor the 4th year of your degree, or last year of your diploma or certificate program. Training initiatives are approved based on funding availability, individual eligibility, and labour market needs. BCNWA-ASETS can also aid with back to work assistance such as work clothes, shoes or travel such as a monthly bus pass. |
